Designed and built with Damon Wake under our Wake | Floyd partnership, for the Microdwell exhibition in 2014. 200 SF, dimensioned for transport. Shou-sugi-ban burnt-wood exterior — fire- and rot-resistant, maintenance-free — cut open to expose the soft clear-coat plywood interior. Wabi-sabi and the Sonoran Desert in dialogue: rough skin, soft flesh. Published widely after exhibition.
